Well, to start off i need help. I am on a mission to find the perfect gift for the boy that I like. Im 16 and he will be turning 17. I really want to impress him by giving him something he will love and possibly get me that postion as his girlfriend..lol...I'm thinking of getting him cologne is this a good idea? If so what kind should I buy? If not what should I buy him instead because im totally lost. I have exactly 2 weeks to figure something out. Someone please help.

Cologne is OK, if you know what he likes. Some people are weird about different scents. I would probably stick to music, DVDs or a gift card. Does he have a favorite sports team....something with their logo on it might be nice.

I don't think the cologne idea is good unless u guys are already an item. I don't want you to be laughed at if he doesn't think of you in the same way. Be safe on whatever you decide on.If he has a car go from there. Guys love to trick there cars out. If not, then pick something out that won't be taken the wrong way.

Lol, talk to him before his birthday, and ask him a question, possibly if he likes you, or you could say " Do you like me as much as I like you?". You can't really buy a guys love, so I would get into the position of GF before then, and the present/s would make the relationship stronger. If you are nervous, dont worry, guys don't really fret over relationships as much as you would think; we accept it, or just forget about it. I would definitely start hanging out with him more, doing more things with him, sit next to him more often (If you are in same classes), etc.
A wallet with your picture in it is perfect, he will have a picture of you at hand to look at when he is sad or misses you at all times.
You could also buy him a cologne that you really like. I would wear it even if it was the most vile smelling thing in the world if it would make my girlfriend happy and/or she liked it.
A watch would be nice too, because whenever he would look down at it to check the time, he would remember you.
I really wouldn't buy him clothes unless you have gone clothes shopping with him before, he probably wouldn't wear some clothes that you picked out for him with his friends if he didn't like them.
I would get one of the things I named, combine it with a date, and maybe even a kiss(wink) and would make any guy happy. Including me. =P

make him a macaroni necklace. 17 year olds love it. At least I did when I was 17.
Cologne is expensive. Give him something with some creativity

Depends on what type person he is, but a gift alone will not do tell him how you feel and see how he fills. A relation ship based only leads to the mall you being broke and mabe some other things...

Depending on his style, I would go for a hat or a t-shirt. I think anything eles would give off too much too soon.
