Yesterday saw a little girl's name on her desk in my son's classroom and it was spelled Macky Anne. Her mother pronounces it Muh-KEE-un. Weirder than weird. Poor little thing has to go through life with that name.

Where I work, there was a little girl named Shithead (pronounced ShitADE), and there was another little girl named Anaporna. No joke, I work in a pediatrician's office. I don't remember any of the others, but we have a doctor who keeps track of people with strange names that come in.

When I went to college, my first roommate's last name was "Dong".. he got a lot of teasing. I had another roommate named "Peter Pan". He was a Chinese guy who picked the name "Peter" because he liked it when came to the US; he didn't know about the character "Peter" and no one told him either until it was too late. Poor guy.

when i was pregnant with my son (now 11 mths) my fiance wanted to call him Karlmichael Bruce!!!!!!
dont ask me why i think that is horrible
we named him Blake William instead, thats a much better name dont u think?
but yeah MAckyAnne is not a name i would ever name my kid
