Can you get pregnant if you are taking Lupron?

Question

I take Lupron for endometriosis. This medication causes the body to go into artificial menopause for the time it is taken... I have been taking it for 4 months.

Yes, you can get pregnant while taking Lupron although it can be devastating to the fetus! The PDR states to not take Lupron while trying to concieve! I hope this helps I am listing 2 sites for you! :-)

Well, I took 4 doses of lupron for 4 months ( 1 dose once a month)when doctors found that i had multiple fibroids inside my uterus. In the mid of 4 months I got married and had unprotected sex but i didn't get pregnant. Lupron stops ovulation and period so there in no chance to get pregnant when are taking lupron. By the way i was 25 then. But Its not good to take more then 4 doses of lupron in a year.

I am not positive but, I have endometriosis also but, I just had a laproscoptomy done I never had to take lupron but this is a serious thing that you would need to talk to your doctor about because I guess I would say anything is possible,,Because my doctor told me that if I wanted to have another baby I better do it as soon as I found out that I had Endometriosis because the longer you have it The harder it is to get pregnant so good luck I hoped I helped you and Hope evrything works out the way you want it tooo.

Not a hundred percent impossible, but since the drug works to prevent the buildup of the endometrial lining, which is where the fertilized egg would implant, would make it very unlikely.

That is also why you may miss or have an extra light period, as the drug is working, and there is no endometrium to shed.
