The fastest way to get there is via NH4. You might find this map useful.

Leave by 5AM. Have breakfast in Pune. Lunch at Kolhapur. Dinner at Belgaum and halt at Hubli Dharwad. You have to be doing 120kmph for about 2 hours along the way to achieve this.

The roads in Karnataka are not as good. You should hit Bangalore by 3PM the next day.

Start at 3 in the afternoon. Go Via Lonavala, Pune By pass enter Kolhapur n halt for the night... next morning Go to Mahalakshmi temple n start. Go via Belgam on NH4 all the way up to b'lore...

Road not very condusive for speading in Karnataka so 60 is what u will be able to do....

in Maharashtra you will be able to do 120...

Total distance between Mumbai and Bangalore is about 1100 Kms approximately.

Leave early in the morning, have a stop at Pune, then continue.

Road conditions are not good. It would be better to take your car on the ferry. You'll like the hotels in Bangalore. They're quite exotic.
