The Bible indicates that while we will be able to know the 'season' we will not know the hour or the day - so really anyone who gives you an answer is not basing it on the Bible.
However, the world is almost destroyed during the 7 years of Tribulation prior to the return of Jesus. Jesus arrives in time to stop the total annihilation of the Earth and forms a government on the Earth for 1000 years. At the end of that time, Satan is loosed again, then finally is thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Jesus said that not even the Angels knew when this glorious event would occure, so your asking humans? The book of Revelation written by the Deciple John after a dream teaches that there will be uncontrollable plagues worldwide and large amounts of domestic animals will die along with the creatures in the seas and rivers, so that the rivers will run red, there will be big wars, then Jesus will appear to the world in a white cloud. The deluded believe Jesus appears before these happen, but we have had plagues already, and the death of large numbers of animals, so has He already come and we are all the left behind?

"According to astronomers, the Earth should last for at least five billion more years before the sun becomes a red giant. Due to the sun's loss of mass the Earth would escape to an orbit at a further distance than its current orbit. The immense heat however would likely boil off the oceans and turn the Earth into a barren wasteland looking like Mars does. If the Earth survived this event, the sun would further evolve into a white dwarf and provide too little heat to sustain life."

The end of the world as in 'the people' will end when it in God's perfect timing.
How? That is no mystery.
You can read it for yourself at Biblegateway by typing in 'Book of Revelation' above the Search button. The end of the earth is also mentioned therein as well as the creation of a New Heaven and a New Earth.

The world will not End as you Suppose.
Life Will go on.
It will get Worse, than it has ever been on the Earth, but ALL WILL NOT PERISH, only about 1/3 of the World will suffer alot.
Then there will be PEACE on the Earth for 1000 Years.

In a year or two.Ok,life as we know it will come to an end. Some people will manage to survive, but they will be few and far between. There will be no more civilization, just tribes.Global warming will just keep cooking things until there is nothing left to sustain humans or most animals and then there will be no one left to worry about when the world really comes to an end.Hope you don't believe in reincarnation.

Sorry. We are not going to close this puppy down till the last amoeba attains enlightenment.
Judging from some of the answers on here from so-called religious people it could be a very long time.
Love and blessings Don

But as to the world as in earth, once the trees start to be murdered more, our oxygen supply will shorten and we'll implode.

On the individual level, the "end of the world" comes at the moment of death.
On the global level, only God knows when and how.
