I have juvenile myoclonic epilepsy? sometimes i feel something is coming but then nothing happens at all. is this normal?

yes very normal. in fact, when you feel something coming, even though you think nothing is happening, a very minute seizure has happened.

I have epilepsy (tonic clonic) and it is normal to have an aura before a seizure, like the other answer when you have that strange feeling your brain cells are misfiring on a smaller scale than that of a full on seizure

Yes this is normal I speak from experience.I get the same feelings that you do and it always turns out that I have a seizure after.

it is called an aura... very normal before a seizure.
