We usually use ‘we’ when a company writes a letter to recipient. We, shows formality and high standard or image. Here, ‘we’ or ‘our’ shows formality and in the same time shows the greatness of God.

What if we change it form ‘Let Us Make Man in Our Image’ to ‘Let Me Make Man in My Image’. Sound less formal and God like just an ordinary human being.

‘We’ and ‘our’ also shows the greatness attributes of God. Lets take the example from Islam (Judaism, Christianity and Islam actually have the same root of believe) there are 99 attributes of God eg. Most Merciful, Most Gracious, Most knowledgeable etc.

So, ‘Our’ is not referring to a group of gods but referring to the greatness of God.

John 1

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

Jehovah God and his Son Jesus.
Proverbs 8:22-31: " “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.

Colossians 1:15 & 16 " He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him"

Don't you understand simple grammar? Alright, tell me and imagine if you are a king of some place and want to build a beautiful Palace or a castle and its design is only in your mind, what will you do?being a king it doesn't suits you to build it yourself, so definetly you order your labours to build it,right? but as its design is only in your mind, you will assist labours that how they should build it. Now you neither said that i built this castle, nor you said that the labours built it, you will say "We built that castle" or "this castle is our creation".

But still if you want to said that it is about trinity, then there were alot other people present there at that time including Angels, and if people insists that our Prophet Jesus(Peace Be Upon Him) is the Son of God, which is un acceptable according to the teachings of Jesus, then Adam (Peace Be Upon Him) is more likely to be consider as the son of God because our Jesus was born without father that was a miracle of God on which you don't believe, but Adam was born without father and mother, so, you must now consider him as a God.

Please my dear, wake up, you and all of us was born from one father and mother, please don't hate each other and try to find the truth honestly and this truth you will find only in Islam, this is the religion of God, this is the religion of all Angels, this is the religion of Adam, this the religion of our Saint Mary, this is the religion of our Jesus and this is the religion of our Last Prophet (Peace be upon Him).
May God Bless you.

The angels, God's helpers or servants.

God, as our parent, prepared everything, the whole cosmos consisting the spirit and physical worlds, for His children, humans. He has made angels to help in His works.

The inference that "Let us make man in our image" (Genesis 1:26) refers to the plurality of God is refuted by the subsequent verse, which relates the creation of man to a singular God, "And God created man in His image" (Genesis 1:27). In this verse the Hebrew verb "created" appears in the singular form. If "let us make man" indicates a numerical plurality, it would be followed in the next verse by, "And they created man in their image." Obviously, the plural form is used in the same way as in the divine appellation 'Elohim, to indicate the all- inclusiveness of God's attributes of authority and power, the plurality of majesty. It is customary for one in authority to speak of himself as if he were a plurality. Hence, Absalom said to Ahithophel, "Give your counsel what we shall do" (2 Samuel 16:20). The context shows that he was seeking advice for himself' yet he refers to himself as "we" (see also Ezra 4:16-19).

There is another possible reason for the use of the plural on the part of God, and that is to manifest His humility. God addresses Himself to the angels and says to them, "Let us make man in our image." It is not that He invites their help, but as a matter of modesty and courtesy, God associates them with the creation of man. This teaches us that a great man should act humbly and consult with those lower than him. It is not unusual for God to refer to His heavenly court (angels) as "us," as we see in Isaiah 6:8, "And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?'" Although God often acts without assistance, He makes His intentions known to His servants. Thus, we find "Shall I conceal from Abraham that which I am doing" (Genesis 18:17); "He made known His ways to Moses, His doings to the children of Israel" (Psalms 103:7); "For the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His counsel to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).

That was the Triune God talking,Father,Son,and Holy Ghost. The Word for God there in Hebrew is Eloheim. It is a plural but used in a singular sense. The singular for God is El,as in El Shaddai etc.
For a better perspective,read all together,Genesis chapter 1 all,John chapter 1 :1- 15,and Collosians 1 : 15-23.It brings a lot of sense to it.
God is one God in three persons...1x1x1=1 God,as opposed to 1=1+1= 3 Gods.Get it?
remember we only use 10% of our brain, some things are tough to grasp.
