Someone you consider a really good friend, but you have feelings for them that are more than that.

My best friend asked me for advice on this, and I didn't know. What do all of you think?

If you really like the person, is it worth risking a really good friendship?

If you say yes or no plz give me a reason.

Also if you have past experience I'd appreciate it if you could tell me.

It can be good but, it all depends on your friendship to begin with.
I dated my best friend while we were in high school and, though it didn't work out for us, we're still very good friends (and we broke up almost 5 years ago). If you're good friends with the person and the frienship is strong then it should be able to withstand even if you break up.
As for if its worth risking the friendship- that all comes down to how much you think it would benefit to change the way you are now. As stupid as this sounds- close your eyes and picture yourself at your prom, its dark and a slow song is playing, your date leans down to kiss you....whose face do you see? If you see your friends face and its not weird at all to imagine kissing him/her, try it- you only live once.

you have to weigh the situation..there is the big risk that once a friendship comes to stage 2 which is the more than friendship stage..commitment as a lovers will get involve here too..but there is this saying, The greatest risk in life is "not taking the risk at all".

But remember too that every relationship ( marriage, gf/bf relationship even the no string attached relationship) started in a friendship. So dont be afraid..just remind each other, if incase that u will not click as lovers, the friendship will remain as it is..its all in a mutual agreement..goodluck

the best relationships is being friends with that person. your friend want to talk to the person that she or he may like. If you don't tell them, it may pass you by. tell your friend that it is worth taking a shot at b/c your friend don't nothing to lose if they tell the person how they feel about them.

Great relationships are based on great friendships. People are always looking for Mr./Mrs Right and it's usually right in front of their noses. I say go for it.
