what is wrong with people who report answers based on whether they agree or not?

Several of my answers have been deleted just because people cannot support their side of the argument. I recently received this email from Yahoo:

Question: What's up with this anti latino feeling?

Question Details: I'm sorry about those of my group who are unfortunately unable to articulate themselves. I have no hatred for you, only illegals. Most illegals, however, come from Latin America, so we tend to make generalizations. I think some people hate all Latinos and Latinas because those of Hispanic origin tend to sympathize with the illegals. I am not trying to be mean, but that's funny.. spam and advertising? Once there was no question so I asked "whats the question" and got reported for "not a question not answer" I am still laughing.. of course it wasn't an answer because there was no question.. you can't figure Yahoo.. I would be pleased to argue with you normally..

I had a question removed for slurs even though I clearly said I don't care where they came from, just go home if you're illegal, and that I support legal immigration because diversity is the greatest thing about this country, and i married an immigrant, and dated latino, asian, and native american women (besides caucasian).

Now for the answer, because they know they have no legitimate reasons to justify the illegal path that anyone who provides false documentation or commits fraud has gone down. Do it the right way, or don't do it. The people who choose to do it illegally are obviously not inclined to behave properly.

There are indeed many people who report things to yahoo simply because they disagree, which is incredibly sickening whether it's based upon prejudice against race, color, religion, etc..., or not.

The sad truth is that MANY people still do harbor prejudices. I wish that we could finally come to a place in all of our lives in which our differences would not be a problem but rather something to cherish and learn from.

I've been turned in for a violation and it wasn't a racist or demeaning or slanderous answer but someone got their feelings hurt, I guess because they didn't agree with me. I've read lots of stuff on this site that is pretty gross but I haven't turned anyone in.

Doesn't Yahoo actually READ the supposed violation or do they just take something off because someone said they didn't like the answer?

it's ridiculous the lame reports for wrong reason lower the
function and corrupt the purpose of info exchange I merely answered a question posed with a light air noway Jose and some one actually took exception never in real life has anyone ever been this ********* towards me . the reportees are the abused much to often and then we get the robo cop routine?no sense of justice is only a nuisance.....

I have had several accounts suspended but dont the people who report others realise that it takes about 2 minutes to set up a new account and ask the questions again. I even build several 360 pages / accounts in advance and use them as one is suspended. I honestly dont care if I am reported......Points mean SH1T any way and I love a challange so SCR3W all who report me.....

Dont know, seems to be happening a lot more this week. I checked my mail this morning and had nine violation notices, the anti's seem to disagree with my opinion quite a bit lately. Oh well, life goes on!!

They are 'Special'.
All the Classrooms they went to said so right on the door.
The Bus said so right on the side.
But all there teachers were named ED.
If they have no intelligent argument to make, they report you so Yahoo will delete the question and answers.
They are afraid if the truth gets out, something may actually happen to change the situation.

Isn't it funny that people who claim to know what they are talking about just don't have the facts. Many immigrants are not Latino. There could be more than 100,000 Nigerians living in and around Houston. There are thousands of illegal Irish immigrants in and around Boston. China, India, South Korea and Canada are among the leading countries sending people here. Many illegal immigrants are college students and workers who choose to overstay their visas. Your generalization that hispanics sympathize with illegals is based on what? How many hispanic people have you talked to because i don't remember you asking me or anybody in my family what our opinion was. I'm sure with your animosity towards hispanics, only leads me to believe you didn't survey anyone directly yourself and all of the information you state are from your own assumptions and others who think and feel the way you do. I'm hispanic born in the u.s. my parents came here legally from Central America both are now u.s. citizens. My uncle who only was a resident of the U.S. was a green beret in the Army and fought 2 tours in Vietnam We all speak English as well as fluent in Spanish. I think people hate latinos and latinas because they are bigets and don't take the time to get to know the people but generalize them all from your prejudice. I don't sympathize with people who break the law! I wish I can argue with you but you are too much of a chicken *** to let me email you directly. You hide behind a cartoon picture and give no info about yourself. And no i'm not afraid of debating these issues with you!!!! Bring it on!!!!!!

Some whine lover is doing it. We all have been getting violations lately, from posts as far as 3 months back. I see no point in it. The person who does it should just E-mail and IM the person they are doing it too and get that issue resolved so that they can move on with their life in Cyber world. Peace.
