So my ex dumped me a month ago. She said she wanted to be friends when she dumped me and I told her that I could not do that because I needed time to get over her. I felt bad saying that cause she is going through a tough time. Her dad passed 4 months ago and she is currently in therapy dealing with that and other problems. She has low self esteem and always seeks attention. I am over her know though and have not talked to her in a month. Would it be okay to send her a quick txt on her birthday to say happy birthday and hope she is doing well?

Well u know her best... While I'd tell u to send her a greeting, its nice to always know that pple care.. but...

1. it could just make her sour caz she's regretting her decision, and she ain't over u...
2. it could make her angry if she thinks u're just rubbing her the wrong way...

on the other hand, it might just rekindle the fire she has for u, caz u're there in her times of needs...(which depending on ur stand be good or bad) utimately we can advise you, but u know her best to make an informed decision. Remember that the ex-factor has a certain way to rub most pple the wrong way...

Good luck!

don't be stupid - ofcourse no longer! i'm guessing you're interior the U. S. the place you nonetheless see somebody below the age of 21 as being a minor. She's no longer - no longer probably. In some years you would be soooo satisfied as much as now somebody 5 years youthful - rather something to gloat approximately on your pals! Heck i began courting my boyfriend, who became 19 on the time, whilst i became 15 (some weeks far flung from being sixteen). we are nonetheless at the same time 4 and a nil.5 years later. 5 years isn't something and as long as you like the lady and he or she likes you in basic terms get on and experience yourselves. stable success!

Well,now that you are over her,that should be fine. Just make sure that you are over her. You don't want to get your feelings hurt either. It's always better to be friends than enemies with your exes as long as you can both handle it. Thats one way to show your a strong person and shows your maturuty. Good Luck=}

Yes, that would be a nice way to say you still want to be friends. If you live near her, you could even send a car and teddy bear that has something about friends on it. To show that you care in a purely platonic way.
