Yes, because by invading Iraq, you have rid yourselves of one stablising factor, Saddam Hussein. I am not a fan of his but at least the Iraqis were less violent, he kept the balance with Iran and the whole middle east had a reason to behave since he was the main threat. Now, you have freed them to suicide bomb themselves on their best excuse, the USA.
Now, you have to be there to stabilise the region. Your politicians crapped leaving you to do the wiping.

Yes, if we left now the insurgents wouldn't allow the government to form and we will actually have a reason to go in there in a few years. Obviously I don't believe we should have gone in the first time.

no it is a useless exercise in futility we are not wanted there and told to leave some areas alone cause of the prime minister there so we should bring the troops home and let them settle amongst themselves the country they want then deal with the country created you can not make a democracy for a country they must make it for themselves all we are doing is being poster boys for getting more terrorist in the middle east

we can't let terrorist control the middle east, and we can't leave the people who stood with us against sadam until they learn to run their country. remember what happened in vietman when we withdrew troops? we have to finish it.
