I always thought conserving energy was better...
I mean, the law of conservation of energy and mass says that nothing is created nor destroyed... and this is evident with when one uses water, it evaporates eventually and falls back to Earth as water once again... I thought it was the ultimate nature-recycled most abundant resource.

It's probably the noblest of all alibis, to justify his reason for not taking a bath, brushing his teeth, and observe proper physical hygiene everyday!!!

Well, if you're pulling water up out of subterranean ground water sources, it does drain the resource. Aquifers do not recharge quickly. If you're using surface water, it does cycle back quickly. But we use water resources pretty poorly in some areas. I lived in Nebraska for a year and the farmers sucked ALL the water out of the Platte River, thus killing everything in it, in order to water their corn with a very inefficient irrigation system.

But yeah, there are other causes, and I have no idea why he picked this one.

I think he just realized that if you want to be a celebrity you have to adopt some kind of cause. Perhaps he was jealous of bono.

LOL OMG, this question made me laugh my *** off, dude i dont think it was the real "Jay-Z" i think it was someone who just put their nick name as that, LOL OMG... too funny!! Personally i think bothare important conserving both water and energy... For our children and our childrens children!! LOL Holy s*** i dont think i have laughed that hard in awhile!! Hysterical!!
