From a professional standpoint I would get it checked. There are programs out there to help you cover the costs of medical expenses. A doctor cannot refuse you treatment due to inability to pay. A really good program that could help you out is the Hill-Burton Act. I spent many years working on an Oncology Unit (Cancer unit) in our local hospital and know that one of the signs of breast cancer is nipple discharge. I don't want to scare you , only inform you. Finding out now is best because there are treatments available that can stop the growth if it is cancer, and better to catch it early. I will keep you in my prayers.

if you had a canceruos cyst that was so badly infected it was leaking, odds are you would have known for some time. there would be a large tumor under the leaking area, which could be anywhere on the breast. and even non-canceruos tumors can become infection and leak! but it would have some color to it, pain, and an odor, and you would have a fever. if all you have is clear fluid leaking out then you probably have an infection, most likely mastitis. you can get infected milk ducts and it can turn into mastitis even if you never had a pregnancy in your lifetime! do you have any discolored circles on the skin? if you have any red circles you most likely have an infection somewheres. don't worry but do get into the doc as soon as you can. until tomorrow morning when you can call the doc, don't worry. use a hot compress on the area and get as much of that fluid out as you can. good luck, hon!

If you're not pregnant? Then I would make an appointment IMMEDIATELY to see your Physician. My Mother was the same way, but she waited till her breast was hard and at the very last minute? She went to see her Physician. They did their tests and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Carcinoma. She also had a masectomy. Survival for her was only 1 year after she was Medically Diagnosed and this included the "conventional" and not the AGGRESSIVE type of chemotherapy treatment. It only prolonged her life for a year.

Bottom line? Get checked, rule out pregnancy and have your condition confirmed. Don't put it off. The longer you wait, the worst it could get.

i'm not sure where you are from, but most places have clinics that you can go to for free. Also, if you have no insurance there is always medicaid/medicare, and it is really easy to apply for. If I were you, I would calm down and relax until you know what it is. I am not a doctor, but my guess is it's nothing serious, but should definetly be looked at by a professional. The sooner, the better, but stay calm!!!! Everything will be ok!

I am 32 and just recently had the same thing happen to me. I had a mammogram which showed a blockage in my milk duct. The surgeon removed the blockage and the milk duct, and it was benign. It is a sign of breast cancer, but I would not worry about it until you talk to a doctor.

A friend of mine when I was in highschool said her breasts leaked already... never been pregnant or anything! I have a feeling what ur experiencing is that. If you're really freaking out though, go see a doctor so they can make you feel better. Best wishes!

Go to the doctor. Don't get worked up over the unknown. There could be things other than cancer that cause this, but you need to see a qualified professional to diagnose your issue.

Don't worry about it. It is normal to have some discharge from your breast. If you had insurance, I would recommend you see the doctor just to reassure yourself that you are OK. Since you do not, don't waste your money. If you can find a free clinic in your area, it wouldn't hurt to go, but it is not necessary. No need to panic. You are perfectly normal.
