I have also had the same thing happen on my inner arm. I know that it is nothing that I did in my sleep, because one time when I was awake my arm was burning and I literally saw the scratch like marks appear. It has also happened to my husband in the same spot. This time it is on my neck and chin. Any ideas what it is?

I would appreciate serious answers. I dont want to hear it was demons or what not, because I dont believe in that crap.

Thanks!

Thanks for the answers so far, but I dont think it is bed bugs. I looked up what the skin should look like, and that isnt it.

The scratches are long, fine, and go in every different direction on my skin. It also burns a bit.

Assuming you have no animals in the house to attack you and are not attacking each other in your sleep; I would guess you have either an allergic rash or are the victim of bedbugs.

Try looking up info about bed bugs. I'm almost positive it's some sort of bug that has creeped into your covers. After being in the dark try lifting up your covers and checking in all cracks or crevices in your matress.

Do you have feather pillows? Sometimes if you do not put the feather pillows in a pillow case liner and pillow case over that the pointy quill of the feather will poke out and scratch you and your neck and arms usually thouh the pillows.

could be a bug, or maybe ringworm. could also be caused by the sun...if you were in the sun for a long time, then scratched yourself, marks could appear...
