Okay, this is a SERIOUS question to you DOG BREEDERS out there... oh, and anyone else who wants to answer it..

....How do you SLEEP at night without feeling extremely perverted? I've seen videos when you watch dogs have sex and guide the dog's penis into the girl or collect sperm from the male dog by whacking him off into a specially designed cone and letting him screw your hand. How the heck do you go to bed without... feeling you know... just REALLLLY dirty?? Because from that point on, I would never pleasure myself. Just so you know. That would just sterilize me alltogether. Does anyone out there know people who do this? It's just wrong, and the dogs aren't ASKING to get pregnant. I think you should buy a mutt from the humane society and save a dog's life. What are your opinions?

How do I sleep at night? Well, mostly because dogs mating doesn't turn me on. Does it make you feel...horny?

It seems you have a problem that talking with a qualified professional may help...or may not. Some of your thoughts about AI's have simply never occured to me.

When one of the males I own in the US is wanted for stud service for a female in New Zealand or Belgium, I'm not shipping the boy over there for a week. Instead, I make a trip up to a vet and collect only that part of him which is needed to produce pups.

Does it make me want to pleasure myself when the vet is making the collection? Nope, sorry, it flat doesn't do it for me.

As for guiding a penis into a female...never had this happen either, personally. Yes, I've held leashes, stood closely by during matings, but I've never had to guide the penis in. And, like was mentioned above, I stood closely by to protect the dogs who were mating, because often one or the other (usually the female) snaps viciously at some point.

And again, watching the dogs mate didn't turn me on, didn't make me lose sleep because I felt perverted.

First off, what do you mean by buying a mutt and saving a dog's life? And you know what...you are the perverted one for watching this. Trust me, there are more perverted things than breeding an animal. You know what is perverted is when 45 year old men go on the internet looking for little boys. Now don't you think that is perverted. Or don't you think it is perverted that people donate their sperm? Or when people actually go out and buy videos that show people having sex...or when people will sell their body for money. Now that is screwed up. Dog breeding may be immoral or perverted, but who are you to judge?

Hate to say it but someone needs to go see a shrink.
I have literally thousands of dollars worth of dogs, do you think for one second that I would EVER allow one of them to do a natural breeding and risk getting a STD or worse yet Brucellosis, or a dog hurt. There are VALID reasons for doing AIs.
With the breeding we will be doing this winter the Stud is in Georga, and the ***** is in Utah, do you want to do the driving or shall we let UPS fly out a chilled little vile of sperm??

Some years ago I saw a very well known Labrador National Field Champion get bitten on the snout by a ***** while breeding puncturing both sinus cavities thus ending the carer of one of the worlds most talented dogs.

Well, some breeders may do this, but we let our dogs do it the old fashioned way. And yes the girl dogs and boy dogs do it without coersion on our part. But, I do know horse breeders who use an electric rod up the horses hind end to jolt it out of them. This is because horses can get excited when they do it and break legs and hurt themselves or the female horse. This is true of bulls and cows too. So in this respect it is safer, though less pleasurable, to do it that way. I don't think the males or females really care, sex is instinctual with animals, it has nothing to do with love, lust or desire. Oh, and the horse breeders I know, sleep fine at night, especially after a good romp int he bed. With another human that is.

You do need to grow up, There is alot of stuff involved with dog breeding ans well as breeding other animals that is done for the safty of the animals. My dog happens to be from a shelter,however a friends of mine did not have that option due to allergies there were only certian breeds she could own. Don't judge because you are not aware of how life is and don't know about how to make breeding practices safer.

I have never done the things you are describing. Yes, I know it is sometimes done, but not by me. If you are watching the videos of this kind of stuff maybe you are the pervert here, huh? I have never watched them myself. And believe me, these females are REALLY asking for it. A dog in heat is intent on making nature take its course.

I wanted to have my horse(NCTW) bred with another TW that had a wonderful line, in order to do this without traveling with my mare over 1200 miles one way AI was the only option, we got not 1 but 2 beauitful stud colts from it, I'm all for AI. and yes I sleep very well with my very expensive colts in the stables....and yes I did do the dirty deed if IAing her.

it is a part of life and to my breeder, thank you for breeding my dog and health testing the parents, answering my questions for 8 years, coming to training classes and shows and giving the option of a purebred healthy dog to those who know what they want.

This is intrepid behavior...and not in a positive way...negative intrepidity seems to be running rampant in todays' society....people dont care about what they do or how they get it as long as it raises the bottom line...they do this w/ more than just dog breeding...I've seen a woman do a pig this way for breeding... *gak*...people have become souless, careless and pretty much disconcerned w/ doing the right thing and are only concerned w/ making money...my wife comes from a farm in the philippines and they never had to do this ...she used to raise pigs and simply paid another farmer to let the pigs do what they do naturally lol...seriously what's next?...letting the dog practice on you so it knows how to get it right?...spare me my humanity please...
