My yellow lab got hooked up with a german sheperd and I do not want her to have mix breed puppies.
My dog was in our yard and the german shepherd came into my yard and got her. The german shepherd runs free and my dog is either inside or in my yard

omg how would you feel if someone was making you get an abortion? BAD BAD BAD!!!! Let her have her babies!!!!!!!!

Why are so many people using this as an opportunity to state opinions on abortion?????????????? It's a DOG!!! As far as I can see there are no questions of abuse here. I haven't heard of anyone trying to outlaw dog abortions, but if I do, I'll be on the bandwagon to see that dogs get their rights, just like women. Yes, you can take her to the vet and have the puppies aborted. But I do agree that it is your fault. Have her fixed, or watch her more closely.

Yes, there is a pill, but it needs to be given within 12 hours of the mating. Or you could have her spayed and the pups will be aborted then.

You can get her spayed while pregnant if you don't want her to have the puppies. But do it soon, simpler surgery the sooner you do it. Don't listen to people telling you it is cruel not to let her have them...the last thing this world needs is MORE unwanted pets...the pet overpopulation problem is totally out of control already!! Get her spayed.

There is a shot that can be given but my vet does not recommend it as it can have unplesant side effects. Better to have her spayed.

there is a shot the vet can give your dog to take care of this but if you wait to long the vet will have to do sugery if thats what you want.

God forbid dogs cross breed. I mean they might get over thier genetic downfalls and become stronger. We definitally don't want that because they wouldn't be as pretty. I think you are outta luck on this one. You SHOULD have gotten the dog spayed.

take her to a vet and see if they can do anything to get rid of the fetuses. Or just sell the puppies once their born, then FIX your mutt.

You can only blame yourself for this one. Should have gotten your dog fixed.
You can take her to the vet and get her spayed now and he'll also remove the babies.

I agree with samantha! BAD BAD BAD! Abortions are SO wrong! What would happen if you did something you weren't supposed to w/ someone your parents didn't like and ended up pregnant! And they wanted you to have an abortion and you had NO say in it whatsoever! You would be sad! LET HER HAVE HER PUPPIES!!!!!!! and I say shame on you if you don't!
