Well first of all, i suggest you take a course in photography if u are still in school, cause it helps a lot when learning about aperture, shutter speeds, optical zooms etc. and after u have learned about those things, you may want to invest in a better camera that is the most efficient for you to use whether professionally or everyday use. There is also a difference between digital photography or the regular film photography.
