They have so much character. Girls love these dogs they're real babe magnets. Anyone else agree?

Bassets are the best. We got our first one (after having Golden Retrievers) and will never get another type of dog. They are such clowns and so sweet. And yes, definitely babe magnets.

My sister-in-law has a bassett and a chihuahua, and they are so cute together. The bassett is just a big old loveable baby and mothers the chihuahua. She is a great dog. For a babe magnet, you should try a chihuahua.....lol

basset hounds have to be the most adorable dogs around with those sad eyes and clumsy ears and turned out feet.I owned the most lovable b/h of all times who loved to ride in the car with his head hanging out,ears flapping in the wind.Someone took it upon themselves to steal that dog leaving me along with my daughter heart-broken

they are pretty cool, but a great dane impresses me more, me being a gal and all.........they are big, but gentle and more energetic than the basset's.....

I don't, but I knew a couple that had one . Dog's name was sloan.
