I don't think it has anything to do with having low self esteem. It has to do with the fact that they have been taught to believe one thing, and can't understand that not everyone feels the same way. They probably not threatened by it, but just trying to be heard.

I dont know but alot of people are. Its hard to get along with other people especially when you start to fell intimidated. I think its all part of how you were brought up and the culture you were brought up in. I noticed that all of my friends that were from Europe are alot stronger willled and smarter then my friends in New Jersey. They can deal with more or a diverse character when my other friends cannot and not be threatned. People always feel threatended some way or another because people like to just feel important and be the center of attention and when that gets taken away people are threatended. and people hate change.

Because their sense of self is unreal, they dont have a mind of their own, they are so shakey that anything that is consoling to them they believe. Their believes are so shakey that they are threatened by other beliefs. And belief means dont question. When something is just accepted it is not real to them, Even truth believed is a lie. One has to experience the truth only then you become spiritually strong. Beliefs are external, and experience is internal. When there is a conflict between what is experienced and what is believed then people become shakey. They lack base for what they speak.

It's not about low self-esteem. Some ppl feel other beliefs are evil and a negative influence from the devil.

They want to feel right with God and a different view than the one they hold is threatening because there is a possibility they are wrong, and if they are wrong then that shatters their belief system.

If you are a new believer and come on this site, you are automatically threatened because of the many voices on here that can tear you down or build you up, that is a little disconcerting.

why do you think on that level? If someone told you that the sky was not air, but really water, you would not be threatened by another belief, only amazed that they could not see the truth

Silly isn't it. I believe in a God that was smart enough to come up with a plan to get everyone home that is going to work.

How cares which path others follow.

Love and blessings Don
