i don't think you are getting the point.....My friend is black and insists on being called African American, though he calls me white....i don't really care, just think it's funny.

Sure...but here they usually refer to anyone from western europe as caucasian. But if you want to call yourself Scottish American go for it.

Kind of...but I think most people there would refer to you as a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant, also known as a WASP.
