Yes, it is okay to sleep with a bra on, provided the bra is designed for this purpose. Bras designed for sleep (sometimes called leisure bras) are soft, stretchy, and made of smooth, breathable cotton or nylon. They can provide coverage and comfort without causing irritation.
Bras designed for daytime use emphasize support, shaping and minimal slippage. They often have underwires, firm elastic and non-stretch straps. If you wear daytime bras to bed, you are at risk for friction, irritation and sweating beneath the fabric

Try not to.Because it is uncomfortable and sometimes cuts down circulation especially if you wear the tight ones or underwire ones. Moreover it can also cause some marks with continuous wear.

If you want to you could still wear a soft sports kind of bra which does provide some grip but without cutting the circulation.Jockey has some good ones.

It won't hurt you but you should not wear a bra at least an hour per day. You should also sleep without a bra as much as possible because the lymph fluids need to move around.

I have slept with a bra on most of my life. I have big boobs DD used to be a G so it is more comfortable with a bra.

That stuff about lymph nodes and cancer has NEVER been proven. You would have to wear a pretty tight bra to cut off the circulation to your lymph nodes. They used to say that wearing a bra at all was bad for you.

Wow, I don't know the answer to that either. I unlatch (I don't know what's the word) in the back of my bra so my chest can breathe easily during the night, but it doesn't make a difference if you slept with the bra on.

I have no scientific proof but my mother has always told me to sleep in my bra and that it will help to keep your boobs from sagging. I have always slept in a bra and I have no ill effects

Someone told me once that if you wear one at night your boobs won't grow. But I don't believe that to be true because mine still grew, I ended up bigger than my mom.

They keep you warm, but if it's old or very supportive then the wires will irritate you. I think the bandeau bras are most comfortable, if you do decide to wear one at night.

my mum and grandma told me its not a good idea, especially if its underwired. our assests need their breathing space. however if you're top heavy like me u need to sleep with some support such as a lycra vest, you can get them at marks and spencers, its sort of like a sports bra, but a lot thinner - almost invisible under a tshirt.
