I've done the single most important thing a person can do to relieve pressure on resources: I never had children.
That means the two kids that I didn't have will not produce the four grandkids, which will not produce the eight great-grandkids, and so on.
I think that's rather a useful contribution: at least 18 fewer people over the next 30 years to use gasoline, paper products, plastics, etc.
As a small reward to myself, I feel free to set my AC as cold as I like.

I shall try to control myself.
I shall try to not buy any SUV or van and they use tons extra of gas and lubricants.
I shall try to wash my clothing using full loads every other day rather than small loads very often.
My neighbor suggested......shower with a friendly neighbor, but I told my neighbor to take a HIKE! LOL!

encourage others to do their part its too bigger problem for just one person to make a difference, it needs to be a worldwide effort, teach children from a young age to respect the environment and resourses. pitty some people just dont see the impact they have.
