Allah means "the God" in Arabic. Because Arabic is the holy language of Islam, Muslims from around the world use Allah instead of the word for God in whatever language they speak.

Arabic is holy because it is the language the Prophet Muhammad used to share God's words with the people.

By the way, Muslims believe Allah is the same God of Christianity and Judaism.

As a Christian, I believe they are right.

Well allah is the supposed muslim name for God, but I have very serious doubts with that. The reason i say this when allah is translated correctly it means "the god". As far as the religion I have to say I have friends that are muslim and they are not all like bin laden. Most are nice a lil arrogant but nice. I have heard some say we Americans are fools for not taking advantage of the money the government offers. I told them the government has it set up where it is hard for the average American to get that money. This is very true and I think it is unfair. Here are some links about islam for you to look at.

The God of the Bible is not allah. He's name is Jehovah. If you saw the third Indiana Jones, in the end he said he must walked in the name of God, he said God's name is Jehovah. Then he realized it was in latin then he picked Iehovah.

ALLAH is the God of this universe. He created this universe and he created mankind. And from the creation of adam n eve, untill today, ALLAH had send so many prophets to mankind, to guide them, and to teach them what is the meaning of life actually as asnwer the bigest question, y we were created?

And ALLAH had send many propehts, most of tehm to the Jews. But thet denys most of tehm and only alittle follows the prophet and realli belives in ALLAH. We call them Ahlul-Kitab. Which means, the followers of the holy books. He gave to the jewish, Torah. BUt later on as human mistakenly use it, and change the real meaning of it, and last, the reali values in Torah was gone, and human is in darkness again, Again, ALLAH with His merciful and love he sned prophet after another. Untill the prohet, we muslims know as Jesus. He was a prophet and not God. He tried so hard to teach the ppl to serve only to One God but soon, the sought to kill him. And Christians thot that Jesus was realli killed and dey thot Jesus was son of God. BUt Allah, love all his prophets, how can He let somone he Loves so much get to be killed so cruelly? Therefore he saves him and brough him up to the sky.
ANd den later on, the Arabs were in the dark ages, and again, Allah sent PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W. THis name is very fammiliar to u, am i rite my freind? So then, Allah gave him Islam. The last religion which like somewhat a latest version of His religion (after christians and jews). And he gave Muhammad the Holy Quran. The latest version of the Holy Books and the one that will lasted untill the end of the world. (Allah promised dat the Quran will never b amnipulated like the Torah or Bible in the past) and yet it is truw, untill 2day it has not been change even by a word.

And this religion called Islam is da teaching the teach human how to live thier life rite. IN many aspects. We were thot our own ways to do economic, social and life. No other religion has ever introduce such thier own economic way like Islam. Have u heard 'Christian's banking?" or "Hindu's banking?" but in islam we have our own ways on how to do ecnomic and so on. If i am to elaborate on this it would be long.

ANd Islam, again wants equality to all mankind. No racists, no killings, no robbing asn all good values like any other religion wants. But da great thing is, Islam teach us the way, How to do it.

DOnt look at the muslim terroris the are stupid ppl. But look at da good ones. Look at da past. Study the life and history of Muhammad. And read the Quran. Open up ur heart, DOnt be like wat God says in the Quran: "the the non belivers when dey hear about Islam, dey will close thiers ears n try to reject evrything that has been broeugh to tehm no matter how u explain to them because they dont wanna hear it" and he says "is it same, a blind person with a normal person?" therefore, truth is out dre my freind.
