There are many books written on this subject, yet trinitarians refuse to even consider it. The word trinity does not appear anywhere in the Word of God. The bible says explicitly "God is not a man, nor the son of man..." Numbers 23:19
In contrast, Jesus is called a man, or the son of man many, many, times.
The Word says God CANNOT BE TEMPTED, and it says Jesus was tempted in ALL THINGS like as we are.
Just as evolutionists start with evolution and never get to creation, I feel trinitarians start with the trinity and never get to God and His son, Jesus, the man, the last Adam.

Jennifer - I have explained it as best I can. i do not believe Jesus is God. I believe he is the SON of God. The trinity is unbiblical.

To Barry - EVERY modern scholar knows that the words you quote were ADDED to the stephens text, from which the King James was translated. Did you even check out the websites I listed? Those words you quote are not in the best and oldest texts available. They are a forgery.

I'm confused by your question. I thought you were referring to monotheism or Sabellianism, but now I'm not sure. Can you clarify what you're asking?

The three are one. God the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit is our comforter here on earth. All three play a part. Jesus was God in the flesh who was born and crucified and rose to go to the right hand of the father and the holy spirit was sent in his place to be with us spiritually to help us through .That's what he told his deciples. They all are one. I don't have a problem with that. We need all three. I was babtized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. All three are the same, they just have different forms. The Holy Spirit helps and comforts us while we are here on the earth, Jesus died for our sins and sits at the right hand of the father interceeding for us, always asking for God to forgive us, His last words as he died. And God is there watching us make a royal mess of things. I thank God that He is the judge of man and not man. We'd all be burning up if it were left up to man, especially the really religious ones that are on the pews every day of the week. No, I have a personal relationship with God and I talk to him and He is a loving and forgiving Father. That's my opinion.

No, sure, and particular. The Trinity became no longer even conceived till countless 1000's years after Christ. It became declared doctrinal interior the fourth century, and became no longer something Christ taught. Mormons reject the guy-made sectarian concept of the Trinity, and declare that God the daddy, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost are 3 separate beings, no longer the three-and-between the Trinity. sure, Jesus died for our sins. sure, Jesus is the Messiah.

John 1:1-- In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word was with and the Word was God!!
1 Timothy 3:16--And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY!!

The Trinity has been established ever since the early church. Here below I left you a link to a series of books written by St. Augustine in the 4th century defending and explaining the Holy Trinity in detail.
St. Augustine was, according to most Christians, the greatest evangelist in Christian history next to Paul the Apostle.
If you have the time I highly recommend reading it to get a more firm grasp on the Christian belief of the Trinity. It is scriptural in many ways, just read. . . .

when you read john 1:1,2 you have to give equal weight in the statement to both parts: the word was with God, and the word was God. It's true, in most part the trinity is only by inference in the bible, but it has more support than the rapture does, and you believe in that i'm sure, yet that is by inference too.

You do know that Christ had 2 natures, one human, one divine. Both he had 100%. What is the point of Christ not suffering for mankind? God the Son stooped down to our level, he became one of us, Emmanuel, God with us. Also, the statement that God cannot be tempted was coined "after" the resurrection. What is the point of the God-Man, Jesus the Annointed, not confronting the devil, the arch enemy of man and beating him in his game, TEMPTATION?
You do know that when the Hebrews were with Moses, they knew of only God the Father. He has no body, and is no man. Don't you forget of the two Yahwehs in Genesis, the one in Heaven and the one on Earth.
Jesus echoes the "I AM" statements in Isaiah chapters 40-55. This spectacular link explores over 20 different passages in Isaiah and John.
In Philippians:
"Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Hebrews says:
1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
Why in the Book of revelation does Christ say he is the Beginning and the end? "In the Beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD was God. In chapter 19, the warrior is called the WORD OF GOD, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. "And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God the Almighty....and with justice does he "judge"
Isn't God our only Judge?

2 Peter 1:1 I, Simon Peter, am writing this letter. I serve Jesus Christ. I am his apostle. I am sending this letter to you who have received a faith as valuable as ours. You received it because our God and Savior Jesus Christ does what is right and fair for everyone.
John's Gospel has over 40 references to the divine Jesus.
John 8:56 “Your father Abraham was filled with joy at the thought of seeing my day. He saw it and was glad.”
57 “You are not even 50 years old,” the Jews said to Jesus. “And you have seen Abraham?”
58 “What I’m about to tell you is true,” Jesus answered. “Before Abraham was born, I am!”
59 When he said this, they picked up stones to kill him. But Jesus hid himself. He slipped away from the temple area.
... Obviously, the Jews that heard it thought it was a claim to divinity. They tried to stone him for it.
You seem to be missing something.
