What ever happened to REAL coffee? I do not want ice cream for breakfast, thanks.

And people wonder why they are gaining weight. A cup of "coffee" (minus all that fancy crap) is equal to 400 calories at Starbucks. All this sugar isn't good for you!

I am not condemning Starbucks, just people in general who are complaining about "obesity' in America. If you want to loose weight, buy straight up coffee from Starbucks, THEN we can talk.

I didn't realize how many calories were in their drinks (or any other latte, mocha, etc.) until a friend told me - yikes!

People probably don't realize how many calories are in them because they see it as a drink - and after all "how many calories could be in a drink?". Before flavored coffees became so big, this question was asked about sodas. While they have less calories than the flavored drinks of today, 120-140 calories per can add up.

If you want "real" coffee brew your own! Why do you care if people are willing to by a $6 cup of java? I like my own home brewed specialty coffee. Flavored vanilla syrup made with 'Splenda' and a wee bit of creamer. Ah, a nice way to start my day.Which only goes to show you how people can enjoy a good cup of coffee for a reasonable price and have flavored java without the added calories!

People realize it. They just don't care. That's the problem period. Drinking a few cups of "coffee" a day doesn't look as eating a few Big Macs right? People just need a way to disguise their vices.

i get a triple shot cafe macchiato -- i don't think that has many calories at all thank u. if people are stupid enough to pay 6 bucks for a cup of coffee they derseve to be morbidly obese and have to drive special suvs with loading docks. when was starbucks supposed to be healthy anyway? its just upscale fast food.

I take my Coffee black and no sugar. I like homemade Burgers from the cheaper meat as the fat make them taste great. I put real butter on my Popcorn and salt. I love a grilled Ribeye Steak. But, I eat a moderate proportion of food and I not fat. ;-)

It is true. I saw a "replica" of fat content of different burgers, french fries and deserts from popular dining places- and the Starbucks Frappucinno drink had almost as much fat as a Krispy Kreme donut. I was shocked- but oh man they taste sooo good....

Good grief. Have a regular cup of coffee then and stop the whining. I don't even put sugar in mine.

ok, stop bashing my starbucks. they do have healthier options, some just choose to not take them. i get a nonfat tall caramel frap, and it's under 230 cal. and they also have a menu for drinks under 200 calories here in atlanta.
