Try doing some yoga, meditation, or therepeautic massage! I know this from experience.... do you feel as though it's anxiety?
Do you have weird heart palpatations? Shortness of breath? Sweaty palms, or break out in sweats for no reason? Migraines? Hives?

Sometimes you don't get those physical symptoms but it can lead to that. If it's something specific you are worrying about then maybe you could just talk it out with a friend, if it's many things that accumulate and you worry about then you may need to get some medication. And I would do this as soon as you can. I take Lexapro for my anxiety and I've had all the symptoms I listed above, Lexapro is not a quick fix though. It helps put you at ease and take control of things, but it can take up to 2 - 4 weeks to get the chemical fully in your system. Definitely go talk to your doctor

Rochelle is on the right track. It is really a case of fear. Fear isn't real. If you find yourself unable to stop this behavior, try to remind yourself that if you can't do anything about it, it is a waste of mind and time to continue to worry. It may also help to do a little imagery therapy. Kinda like self hypnosis. Learn how to relax. In your mind's eye, picture a file folder. Now picture all your worries one at a time going into this folder. Now, picture a really big file cabinet that is completely empty. Now, take the file of worries and put it in the cabinet. It is the only folder in the cabinet now. At this point, lock the cabinet, put the key in your pocket, and walk out of the room turning out the lights as you go. Now, it may help to get a real key and put it in your pocket, to remind you you have total control over when, how, and how many worries you will take out of the file and look at today. Good luck.

I wish I had kept the article. There was a university study that stated that 85% of the things we worry about don't come true. When they do come true, half the time it isn't nearly as bad as we make up in our heads. The article went on about women worried XX% more then men and a few more like that.
Keep focused on tomorrow. You'll be OK. Fred

same thing happend to me, this is what i did: go in a peaceful place, (like by a river stream, under a tree, etc. u get the point.) and just sit down, bring a book with u, and relax. it helps just to focus your mind on something like a book. then your mind is concentrated and not worried. and do not read a book that is about someone worrying.

whatever calms you down, if you want to get all religious, then go ahead, it won't ever solve MY problems, in my case, I like to think of things as "well this is a problem. Can I fix it?" if the answer is yes, then I'll try my best to do so, if the answer is no, I just say "well, I guess that solves THAT problem" if you can't do anything about it, then it's not worth the trouble.

stop worrying, go out and enjoy. see the beauty around your place, the trees, the rivers, the flowers. talk to people and give pleasantries and never think of things that are bothering you again.

I suggest you put aside any worries that aren't relevant to today. Alternatively, you can set aside about 10 minutes a day to worry and then go about your day without worrying.

i guess it's normal to worry about things. i'm also worried about something for the past few days. i guess the best thing to do is pray and have a positive attitude. consider it as a motivation to strive on things happening to you.

When I worry... I pray to God.
God has a plan for you.
He knows what's going to happen to you.
He'll be there for you.
Just have faith and depend on him.
Everything will be fine.
Let God handle it.

Just smile and know everything is fine because God is there.
