As a freshman in highschool I currently have a GPA of 4.18. Do I have a chance to get into a pre-med college?
If I keep it at around that do I have a chance of getting into a pre-med school and eventually med school.
I have always excelled in Science and and one of the only freshmen in my school taking Biology, which is typically a sophmore course, and the school only allow certain freshmen to take it.

Of course you do. Not even a question.

First off, be sure you take plenty of English/Writing courses. Nothing's worse than a scientist (or doctor) who can't write a sentence. Believe me, grad schools in general and Med schools in particular are clamping down on this.

Second, look at the entrance requirements and application suggestion for top colleges. You need to make sure you continue the correct curriculum, including math, science, English, foreign language, etc.

Third, try to do extra-curricular activities. Try to get into leadership positions - at work, at a religious organization, volunteering. Top tier college eat that crap up.

Do your homework. Check out the college websites and applications - most are on-line. See what they want in their essays and course curriculum, and make sure you take those course throughout high school. And it is true, absolutely true, the best doctors come from the best med schools, who only take the most gifted undergrads from the most prestigious colleges, who are very discriminating regarding their freshman class. So do not stop working hard.

On the other hand, there are thousands, maybe millions of people out there who screwed around in high school and now would sell their souls to Satan to have had your insight at your age. If you want to go to med school, you will go.

yeah, I don't see why not. That's an extremely high GPA, so as long as you keep it up there's really no reason you shouldn't be able to get into a pre-med program at a college. Just make sure when you take the SAT or ACT, score high on that, and also it probably wouldn't hurt to join a few extracurricular activities if you're not in some already since colleges will be looking at those things too.

You made a few grammar errors for someone with a GPA of 4.18. Hahahaha, I'm sorry, I just used to be a bit like you. Everyone is like that as a freshman really, you're full of ambition and bursting with enthusiasm about college since it's not a real threat to you. But it really doesn't matter that much now, freshman overachievers with perfect grades are a dime a dozen. Try living more of a normal life and focus on learning about the world a bit and having fun. But no, you don't have the slightest chance of getting into a pre-med school, you're a freshman! But yes, you're on the right track so far, even though you've only gotten two feet into the race. Ask again in two years or so if you want a real response.

Unfortunately, I believe grades like so that they can maintain you again from an ivy league schooling BUT that does not imply you cannot attend different excellent faculties so that they can furnish you a excellent groundwork (if now not, larger) for entrepreneurship. I might seem at The University of Maryland College Park Smith School of Business or Northeastern. Northeastern primarily has a powerful entrepreneurial spirit among it is undergraduate they usually get ready you tremendously good for industry fields with in the course of-the-12 months co-ops. These faculties also are a lot much less aggressive than the ivy leagues.

sure... just figure out where you want to go and what their requirements are. and you also have to get good scores on the the MCAT...so just keep at it, but don't kill yourself over the grades, make sure you have a very well balanced life. I've also heard that med schools also like it when you have more of a balanced education, like a major other than pre-med. but its best to talk to a med school to see what they look for the most and then determine where you want to go to undergrad...

It's worth a try.

Honestly, a GPA in highschool is totally different than a GPA in college... ESPECIALLY in med school.

Just keep doing all you can. Atleast you don't have a 2.0 GPA.
