Um, yeah I think so. But at least she likes you enough to say it tactfully.

"asked her out" can have different meanings depending on what region you are from so...
If you mean on a date: In my opinion no it is not, if those were her words she's being sencere, more then likely she's a very busy girl and does not want to set a date if she can not keep it. I hope you two have a wonderful date.
If you mean you asked her out as in to be your girlfriend then she was obviously mocking you. So sorry, she is not worth you're time.

Not neccessarily rejection, all depends on her personality. I'm a goody two shoes who tries not to offend people, but I say "no" when I hate a person. Has she ever said "no" to people before? Does she ever show signs of liking you? Did the excuse sound plausible? Don't dwell on it too much.

Yup, the indefiniteness is a dead giveaway. Wants to be nice but leave things totally open. Unless she actually gets in touch later, but I would NOT hold my breath!

well. she said that she`ll let you know. maybe she`s just super busy. try waiting for a week or two, if she doesn`t bring it up then she might not be interested. or she just wants to seem like she`s booked. good luck ! =]

Sounds like it to me, see if you hear form her in the next couple of weeks. If you don't than it is rejection.

no. It just means that she is busy. Maybe with another man maybe with work. But I don't think so. Wait, if she isn't worth it than just move on. Don't wait too long (I'd say 1 week!) and then don't nail her when she calls you back.

She is being polite... If you don't hear back within a week, concider it a polite rejection.
