I started to like this best friend of mine three months ago. Finally I decided to ask her out. Today I was talking to a best friend of ours on the phone, and I was told that her (the girl I like) friend told her about this guy who liked her, so she got excited and gave it a try, but ended up separated because the guy was being non-Christian-like. Since she has suffered from it once, I'm not sure if she'll have the same reaction to me when I tell her I like her that way. Is she still willing to give it a try? Any help is appreciated!

Some confusion on what you wrote...did you ask her out or didn't you ?

Ok if you didn't ask her out...

It all depends If she is really down in the dumps about what happened and if so now would be the best time to ONLY be a best friend. If you can reason with the head on your shoulders and truly be a friend first she might just see that you are different than the other guys.

Tell her only once that you're really mad at what happened and that guy was a real jerk for what he did and that she deserves much better. After wards if she wants to talk about it she Will but don't keep mentioning it if she doesn't. Always try to make her laugh and be happy.

If she is shy and understands that you are special she will probably tell her best GF first and maybe even tell you dierectly that she likes you more than just a friend. At this point then you can tell her about your feelings towards her and ask her out but If time goes by and she doesn't say anything than you have to make the move !

I hope that helps

Good luck

Ciao

Ask her out but be truthful with her from the start. When you say best friend are you close friends? if so be careful to not spoil your friendship. Personally I never dated anyone I was close friends with there are to many girls in the world to take a chance on spoiling a friendship.

Depends on what this guy did that was "un-Christian-like". Be sure not to do the same and take things slow, and things will go OK.

granted the lady will be a bit cautious at first. I would just come out and blurt it out. Take is nice and easy w/her, be there as a friend first. When she is ready, you will be the first to know.

You must think of your friendship with her first. If you feel that strongly about it then you should at least talk with her about it to see what she says. You'll never know unless you ask otherwise you'll be driving yourself crazy about it.
