Yep my book said so.
1 L = 4.23 cups
1 L = 1 kg water
1 cup = 80 oz
Oz to Grams pls multiply by 28.3500
FYI
Grams to Oz pls multiply by 0.0352

4.23 cups = 1 Liter.
I don't have ANY idea how many cups are in a litter though !! To ME, one darned cup alongside the road constitutes LITTER !!

I use mugs most of the time so two mugs if you are sure they are
500 mls size.I have a measuring jug with different Graduations on it ,Pints,Mililiters, Cubic Centi Meters. These are the best,you
cant go wrong.
