It is common for adults to have acne. Research I have done lists (some) causes as hormonal, stress and sluggish digestive system.
The topical remedies help control the symptoms, but never really cure it.
Think about your habits to sort out a possible cause to your pimples.
Did you know a sluggish colon can cause acne? Toxins can be released thru the skin.
Studies are revealing a good digestive system is key to optimum health and skin. A good healthy diet with plenty of water after a colon cleanse. Health food stores carry a variety of cleanses and you can get more information from them.

Very Normal, especially for women. More than likely it is a hormonal fluctuation. I am 44 years old. I had acne as a teen. I had beautiful skin in my 20's and 30's...I started breaking out again when I was around 40, especially around the jaw line. My doctor told me it was hormonal and prescribed doxycycline. I took it for about 3 months and it didn't really work. I live in Florida and I was getting sunburned very easily. A side effect of the doxy (sensitivity to the sun). I started using Proactiv about 2 years ago and it works wonderfully. You need to use it consistantly. I would HIGHLY recommend this product, especially for us "older" people who break out!!

Yes it is. You have to find something to use on your skin that will help your skin maintain balance of oiliness and dryness. Most times the reason for breakouts is too much oil and clogged pores. Try a good toner, cleanser, and moisturizer.

I still get them, 49, look like I'm 35, because of oily skin. Best thing to do is wash with soap and avoid touching skin too often

Definatly. But whoever has that many should definatly wash their face well and use acne products (assuming they would like to get rid of them).
