Bible Sevens Challenge
Make up questions to ask and write them on cards before the trip then ask them on the bus according to these rules flip a coin to see what side goes first.
Now ask the question and if they get it right within 7 seconds they get another question until they're wrong then the other side gets a try.
The side not being asked can steal ONLY if the side being asked gets it wrong or doesn't answer within the 7 seconds. UNLESS the 7 point rule comes into play.
The 7 Point Rule is kind of complex so listen up..
When a team has a seven point lead on another team the team that is behind can opt to have a question asked to them as a free point if they get it right it's now their turn and they continue playing if they get it wrong then play switches to the team that is ahead and they must answer the same question and if the team that is ahead gets that same question wrong then the team that is behind gets 2 points automatically and the coin is flipped to select who goes next. Losing side calls the flip.
Winning
The first team to reach 24 points is the winner so you should have about 50 questions ready. best bet is to find some from a Bible trivia card game.
House Rules
To make the game more interesting for veteran players and if you have one side that just keeps losing use these house rules...
The Benediction Rule
Used as a substitute for the 7 Point Rule. When a team is behind by 7 points they can opt on the seven point question to pick a player from the opposite team to now be a member of their team instead of being asked a question. You still flip a coin to see who goes next but they get no points at this time. Losing side calls the flip.
The 14 Wager Option
If the gap goes up to 14 points then the losing side can use the 14 Wager rule in which they can take away up to 14 points from the other team.
The referee (person asking the questions) must let the team that is behind by 14 points write down the number of points up to 14 they want to take. The team that is ahead must write down the number of points (4 point minimum) they are willing to lose.
The losing team is asked a question if they get it right then subtract the lesser number that was written from the greater and the total is the number of points they get. If they get it wrong they get nothing.
Play resumes when the referee flips a coin to be called by the losing team.
Enjoy and if this works for your group then let me know.

How about telling a secret to someone at the very front of the bus (whispered in the ear) and they have to keep telling the secret to the next guy and so on and so forth until the secret gets to the back of the bus then have the person at the back of the bus tell what secret he was told and I guarantee you it will be totally different than what it started out as. It is funny and fun and also a very good lesson on gossip.

Pretend the bus is Noah's ark, have everyone imitate their favorite animal, and see how many minutes you can go before the bears, tigers, and lions start mauling the deer, horses, and llamas.
