a happy dog. I have seen dogs of all breeds that had behavior that might turn someone against that breed. The opposite is also true. Even dogs with extreme reputations (like the Pit Bull, a great breed for the right owner.) Are as good as the training and leadership they are given, or as bad. I've seen Labrador Retrievers that had to be put down because they were to aggressive. If you are dedicated to your dog, your fav dog will be yours, no matter what breed you decide on. Good luck!

My favorite breed of dog would have to the boxer. The boxer is a hyper dog, as well as loyal, and loving. This dog has few health problems. They will play all day, lay and relax, and at the end of the day you can always trust they will protect you and your property. They are great with kids, maybe not toddlers being as they jump aroundalot. I have had several boxers and have found them to be trained easy at a young age(with strict discipline, not abuse). I have never had one growl or snap at me, but have had them save me a couple of times.

My Goodness, I would have to say it would be a tie between a puggle, a teacup chiuaua, and a shih tzu. I am just a plain animal luver and I luv them all, it is so hard to pick! BTW: Cute question, one time I asked if you have ever wanted to switch places with your dog!

westies..(White Highland Terriers) I have two and they are friendly with people. They do well around children but a little hipper with other animals.
