There are two general types of systems, active and passive. An active system uses energy to move heat energy around. A passive system uses convection to move the heat (heat can also radiate from warm surfaces to heat people and objects too).

In your question, a fan is used to move heat so it is an active system.

In a room that has sunlight coming into the room through windows warming say the floor, that would be an example of a passive system.

I guess if the list is all I have to pick from, the answer would be A.

I built and tested one and made up plans for a bigger better one which I will be posting on my website soon. But it is really called a "Forced Air System"
