How old was he when he came over illegally, was it by his choice or the choice of his parents.. all things to consider really.
Best answer so far was to speak/hire an immigration attorney.
I am sorry sweetie, but I am for deporting all illegals.. HOWEVER!! He may be able to stay, considering the fact that you and he are married. Check into it.

I've had lots of clients who are here as asylees, and when they had immigration hearings, they went and just had to fill out papers or show the judge certain proof, but weren't detained. I'm with these guys on the lawyer bit, tho...if you can't afford a lawyer, contact your local Legal Aid Society and see if they can help you...good luck.

He will be detained but I believe he can post a bond. Around $5000, I think. Hire an immigration lawyer. Good luck!
Here, checkout this link. http://www.vakililegal.com/bond.htm
Delivery Bond
A person who is arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is issued a Warrant of Arrest (Form I-205) and a Notice of Custody Conditions (Form I-286) may be eligible for a delivery bond. The amount of a delivery bond should be sufficient to ensure that the alien will appear for any future immigration proceedings. In order to be considered for bond, the alien must be eligible and demonstrate to the satisfaction of the immigration officer that such release would not pose a danger to property or persons, and that the alien is likely to appear for any future proceedings.

How Do I Post a Bond?
There are two ways to post a bond after ICE determines that an alien is eligible for a delivery bond ($1500 minimum) or is granted Voluntary Departure with bond ($500 minimum): Cash Bond and Surety Bond. A cash bond and a surety bond are two methods of posting either a delivery bond or a voluntary departure bond.

Retain an immigration attorney immediately. If he doesn't show- you'll be on the run for the rest of your lives. It may be unpleasant and expensive to sort this out - but it can be done with the right help. GET THE VERY BEST LAWYER WHO SPECIALIZES IN IMMIGRATION IN YOUR AREA.
They may detain him until you post a hefty bond - but it's better than being bundled up and shipped back to wherever on the next flight out.
Good Luck!

Why doesn't he do like everyone else...ignore the judge. The only ones that pay attention to the rules are the law-abiding citizens. He is here illegally to begin with. Why should he start obeying the law now?

It's going to be a bad time for illegals . Americans are outraged with the Illegal Mexicans protests.

I wish you guys the best... I believe he will be detained immediately. Legally he has to show up, but I don't think not showing up is any more against the law than being here illegally. I don't know the exact situation, so I'd have to advise going because skipping might make him in more trouble, but he might consider not going.

I've known illegal Americans and unlike most ppl I don't think harsher laws are the answer.

I HOPE THAT HE WILL BE DETAINED FIRST AT LEAST UNTIL IMMIGRATION ARRIVES. ON THE OTHER HAND THEY MAY US YOUR HUSBAND AS AN "EXAMPLE" BECAUSE OF ALL THIS ILLEGAL BORDERING CROSSING GOING ON, SO EXPECT THE WORST BUT HOPE FOR THE BEST, AND BE STRONG FOR YOUR HUBBY.

I WISH YOU THE BEST!!.

he might probably need to post a bond to get out. But if he is going to be here, he needs to act like a civilized human. Good luck and I do hope it works out for ya.

My question is do you love him enough to go back to Juarez or are you a fence jumper too?

There's one thing you Mexicans fail to understand about us. Yes we are a caring people but we live in a nation of laws established by our Constitution. If you break our laws you are a criminal as is the person who hired you.
