because they are idiots and they dont realize that if they do commit murder the truth will always catch up with them there is no such thing as "The Perfect Murder." I am a Crime Scene Investigator dont worry it will catch up with them. Blood tells the story!!!

Because they have been shown by the publicized trials of O.J.Simpson, Phil Spector, Robert Blake that it depends on the sort of defense you can afford as to if you get away with it or not

Citizens can't get away with murder. Citizens can't use the excuse "I feared for my life" the way cops can.
