I understand evolution. I've never met anyone who worshipped Darwin. Have you? Where are their churches? Do they dress up an pray once or twice a week?

yes, you can, it is also a theory. Worshipping his knowledge and wisdom is not wrong, some true believer in god worship god for his knowledge not for heaven.
