DEPENDS ON HOW COLD IT GETS WHERE YOU LIVE. I HAVE 2 "SNOW DOGS". ONES A MALAMUTE WOLF X, AND THE OTHERS A BURNESE MTN. LAB X. I BRING THEM IN IF THE TEMP FALLS TO 30 DEGREES. IF THERE'S NO WIND.
PUT YOURSELF IN THE DOGS POSITION.

If it gets below 30 i would bring her in. If she is old or a puppy i would bring her in at 45 degrees. Old dogs and little pups dont do as well as grown young dogs. It is sorta like people. If she is 7 and older she is older. If she is less than 8 months she is a bit too young to stay out.
If there is a lot of snow i would bring her in too or ice. Would be good to make sure she has a wind break. You can do this by facing her dog house to your house ( if your house is in a concrete foundation on the ground) and pull it up to about a foot from your house with her door facing your wall.

It's too cold outside for any dog no matter how thick the coat when your weatherman/woman on your local news says that you should bring them in for the day or night due to the drop in temperature.

I dont think your dog should even have to be outside longer than it takes him to go to the bathroom in the winter. What is the point of having your dog if he cant be in the house?

If it's going to get colder than 20 degrees F at night, you should bring the dog in. She may not freeze to death, but she'll be really uncomfortable and it could cause her to have health problems.

Her coat won't keep her from getting frostbitten ears, even if her house has insulation. Keep her in when it's below freezing, except potty breaks.
