Yes. Many years ago, Johnny Cash has a song "My Name Is Sue". His father named him Sue--then was gone. Years later, as an adult, in a bar, some guy comes up to him and tells him that he is his father. Big fist fight with the father then telling him that was the reason he named him Sue--so he would grow up to be strong--fighting off those that made fun of him.
This has not been your situation but I'm thinking you are a very strong person. I sure hope you are a happy person now, because you sure deserve it. Best of luck to you.

Well we can look at this two ways ...
I would say NO don't hate them . They have problems and in a Christians eyes I would say forgive them . They need prayer and a good example from you. "or to whom ever the children are" . You see this world is full of bad things and if they didn't take you in the filthy places they were going then thank them and love them even tho they have problems.
2. In the eyes of a non christian they would say Sure I would hate them how dare they let me have a life with out them. How could you. and raise the last one not me what ever.
But..... I am a christian and I would say Please forgive them and you will get rewards in the long run... Thanks

This is my second attempt to reply. You may want to consider that you are carrying baggage you don't need to carry. You must be old enough to take care of yourself. I suggest you concentrate on what you want to be and where you want to go. What you were raised in/around/with doesn't matter now. You have the power to be whatever/ however you want to be. You need to take care of you now, do that instead of slinging the family's dysfunction around, then tucking it back in that bag you're carrying. Understand? Most families have some form of dysfunction to them. You either learn to forget/forgive or you carrying around a heavy load that affects every part of your being for the rest of your life. I want you to concentrate on you, take care of you. Be good to yourself. HUGS

Yeah, I would too. We all deserve better than that. I always wished that I was an orphan. Just be the best person you can be. Look ahead and not behind. Keep smiling!

No. I wouldn't HATE them. I would of liked an explanation. Life is too short for hate. It keeps you standing in one place.
