No. If you don't want your dog to get pregnant then get it spayed.

Vets won't use that particular drug anymore - they will spay only.

In older times, one could bring the mismated female dog to the vet for an injection of estrogen within the first few days after the mismating. This treatment is generally not recommended any more as the high doses of estrogen used predisposed the female to life-threatening uterine infections (up to 25% incidence in one study). Dangerous bone marrow suppression is also a possibility plus the estrus (and all the unpleasant vaginal discharge and attraction of males) becomes prolonged. This treatment has been deemed too toxic and should not be requested.

NO, not that I am aware of. With pets, it is best to be RESPONSIBLE before an accident occurs. I am not sure what your situation is, but if your dog is pregnant, you will be getting a litter of puppies in the future.

By the way- when you say "just been bred" that suggests it was a purposeful act, not an accident. Either way, my answer stands.

There is a shot that may cause the dog to miscarry, but its dangerous and most vets won't give it. I'm not exactly sure about the details on how it works or when its effective, the only thing I know is that it's dangerous and that its not guaranteed to work.

If you mean so the dog doesnt get pregnant then yes. my brothers male dog got to my female less than a year after she had her puppies. I didnt want her going thru that again so my mom too her to the vet and they gave her a shot. They told her it ususally works as long as you get it within 72 hours.

I have never heard of one, but the vet can abort the pregnancy. Don't know how much it costs. Shouldn't be too awful much though. I've known alot of people that have had it done when their dogs have gotten out and well got pregnant to something they don't know when they had a pure breed.

There was something called the "mis-mate" shot that vet gave a long time ago. Most will no longer give it since there are side effects and future implications on the reproductive cycle. You can call your vet and ask for advice.

A shot. But you don't want to be pregnant yourself. I didn't have any problems breeding my dog later. A whole lot better then putting more unwanted mixed puppies in the world.

There is, however it isn't very safe, has way too many side effects and most vets won't prescribe it. The safest and best thing to do is to have your girl spayed.

There is an injection your vet can give to abort the pups, but can't be given until she is two weeks into her pregnancy. The charge where I live is $25.00 for each injection and two injections must be given two weeks apart.
