If there is a God and humans are made in his image why not?...as an atheist the whole proposition seems a bit out of whack to me, I think God is more likely made in the human image so again why not a gay God.

No that is a bodily conception. God made us in a similar image with two hand, legs face etc. but the sexual thing is all perverted in this age. It is due to not paying attention to the laws of nature. You have to understand reincarnation and Karma to really understand why people have a tendency toward the same sex. God in my humble opinion is Omnipresent and Omniscient...Two of my favorite words...So in my opinion if you are asking if homosexuals are human my answer is yes and if you are asking if homosexuals are filled with God or the love of God...I would have to answer yes!
So are ants, birds, roaches, dirt, flowers and trees...add to that blacks, whites, disabled, male, female, bi, lousy politians and the like... whatever...In my opinion God is in everything...It has to be if God is Omnipresent... Whether one accepts their divinity is a whole 'nother subject but each of us has the opportunity and joy to connect with the source that created us!
God created the mirror for you to look into and become all that you wish and desire...what is good for one may not be the desire of another...but don't judge another until you have walked in their shoes, and even then if you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be so...

As a Christian that is gay I would emphatically say in concept yes.
Now then in reality God does not look in a mirror in the way we would.
To actually answer you point. Jesus was celibate but loved and kept company with prostitutes. Jesus was righteous but many of his followers/disciples (our now venerated Saints) were theives and murderers.
Do not judge that which is different than you. for you will recieve judgement and condemnation in the same amount that you mete out.

Is there a person born as a homosexual? I think homosexual people are not like that when they are born as babies. Any information please?
But there are babies who are born defected. There must be reasons for that right? Do you also think that God creates them defected? Or, do you think God is also defected, like an imperfect baby resulted from their mother's having consuming certain dangerous medicine?
