well, number one, DO NOT get a friend to ask, it messes things up...so i would just flirt with him, and be really nice and sweet, you'll sense it if he likes you.

What u do is wait till an event like a dance comes up and see who he asks if he doesnt ask anyone then you ask him even if some people think thats wrong.
