If you buy the ring at the jeweller's, they usually size it free.

Most any jewelry store (not department store jewelry department) can re-size most rings. However, it depends on several things: the type of band, how thick or thin it is, if you need it made larger or smaller, and how much of a change is needed. Up or down one or maybe two sizes can generally be done with no problems. More than that can damage the ring.

The jewelry store that you bought the ring from should do size changes for free...I wouldn't go anywhere else to size the ring.

Most plain band rings can be sized one or two sizes either up or down with little difficulty. Any competent silver or gold smith can do this, and the fee is usually nominal. For a thin, plain silver band the price starts around $16.00 for the first size in my neighborhood.Call around to your local jewelry store for prices in your area.
I also would not just an online jeweler for this purpose, nor do I recommend "mall" type jewelry stores.
Good Luck

Yes you can go to any store and they will gladly change the ring size but if you are able to go to the one you got it from they are more likely to do it for free.

You can pay for almost any jeweler re-size the ring, but you can't go into any store and exchange it for a different ring. You'd need to return to the place of purchase.

Most times the jeweler who you bought it from will do it for little to nothing. I just had my rings redone at a jeweler (my jeweler moved really far awy) it cost me a lot but they were dealing with platinum. Which is expensive.
