I'm talking about when someone tailgates you (even when you are going 5 to 10 mph above the speed limit), then passes you on the wrong side of the road when you stop at a stop sign, then purposely brakes constantly so you are more likely to crash into them, then purposely stop in the middle of an intersection with no turn signal? Yeah, you can tell I didn't have a good day on the road during rush hour. But how do you handle something like this? Is it better to be the other person and not pay any attention to it, or do you have other responses? I'd like to hear them all, and maybe some advice on how I could've handled the situation better. Thank you!

i love people like that...ill be stuck behind some truck or van for 4 or so miles and they go like 15 miles under the limit and when the road splits into two, they go like 15 above so you cant pass but then when it turns to one again, they quickly jam the brakes and get 15 under again...i just ignore them..its stupid to get mad at em

If you beleive that the driver's actions are a violation of the law, you can contact the police with your cell phone and give them the details about the vehicle; type, color, license plate, what road they are on and the direction they are traveling. Generaly the police will dispatch an officer to intercept the vehicle.

The safest solution would be to get off the road and wait a few minutes for the other driver to get further away. If they follow you, then you should call the police.

I drove 4000 miles a month for two years.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
However, I was driving a company car, and if someone did something intentionally, I would have to let it go.
