Up until 2 days ago (today's date 11-02-06), my dog started back eating her food. She's been refusing/not eating her food for about a week. Her tities are getting bigger towards her groin, her nipples are huge right now and I can manage to get what looks like milk out of them. She does have vaginal discharge/bleeding. Light pink in color and she's licking constantly. She's very tender under the belly, very affectionate and protective of me. This is my first experience ever with a pet becoming pregnant. My dog is also due for her immunizations, will this affect her pregnacy? There are two strays that keep coming around the house, she is an outside dog, comes in at nights. Is there a way to distinguish which dog got to her??? I know this question is kindof odd but.....

What a RESPONSIBLE owner to leave an unspayed dog outside---IN HEAT!!!!!!!!! Probably ALL the stray males "got" her. Wow.....you are a winner.

And if you listen to the idiot "Golden breeder" that says it is OK to vaccinate a pregnant bit ch.......you are really a loser. NO vet will give the distemper combo vaccine to a pregnant bit ch.

You really need to spay the dog.

Judging from the details in your post, she is due to deliver any time now. You can only get milk from her 24-36 hours before delivery. You will not be able to tell what dog got to her until the puppies arrive. Then you can guess but you won't be able to be sure. Keep the mother in the house with the puppies only letting her outside to go to the bathroom. Make sure you give her extra food and plenty of water. She needs the added food and water because she is gonna be feeding a bunch of puppies.
And please, once she is done nursing the puppies (6-8 weeks) please get her spayed.

If your pet is still in season, only then she would be bleeding and they usually stop bleeding around 10 days from the first day coming in.She probably won't breed up until that 10th day.If it has been over 10 days, your pet should not be bleeding, and breeding won't cause her to bleed. You aren't suppose to give immunizations to a pregnant animal. There is no way to tell which dog got to her if any,and if it hasn't been over 10 days since she come into season,it is doubtful she has bred yet.Tell your vet, that you suspect she has bred before he gives immunizations, and if she is over her season, she shouldn't be bleeding, this needs to be checked out by your vet.

well the way to tell if she took or not is that she will be bigger in the rib area and yes her nipples will be bigger too. you won't know which male got her. everything that you are seeing is normal and bleeding will soon go away but her privates will stay swollen till after she has the pups. you should be able to get her vacs and should not be a problem or harm the pups. you need to keep her in at all times because even though she mated with one of them, they will fight over her if they get the chance and a possibility that they can and will hurt her. so keep her in and when you take her out to potty you need to watch her. good luck

just take her to your vet rather than wonder. if shes an outside dog during the day both dogs could have mounted her.

Yes, she's pregnant. Next time when you let her out spy on her to see which dog she hangs around the most.
