I'm not talking about just tight-fitting pants, I'm talking about wearing the same old pants after gaining a little weight and the waist being really tight and uncomfortable. Is possible to get a blister from the chafing?

You are not necessarily fat, like the person above me is trying to say, but YES, friction causes blisters.

Stop wearing the pants or leave tghem unzipped or something to give yourself some room...

Evidently, get some new pants, or better yet, lose the weight.
