Hansen's has no aspartame. It is sweetened with Splenda. There are no artificial colors or flavors, no sodium, no caffeine, and no preservatives either. If not at your grocery store, try your local health food store.
If you have a corn or wheat allergy, Splenda will be a no-no for you. Splenda is the marketing name for sucralose.
Sucralose is a chlorinated sucrose derivative used as an artificial sweetener. It is sold in packets and in bulk for home use under the tradename Splenda, and is used in thousands of products. It's everywhere and, according to reports from our visitors, so are the problems arising from its use.
The problem with sucralose, as it was with aspartame, is that it was rushed through the FDA approval processes without thorough, long-term testing by independent laboratories or groups to prove or disprove its potential health hazards. The information is only now being considered by independent organizations and watch groups.
Splenda, the trade name seen in stores on packaging, is a combination of three ingredients--sucralose, dextrose, and maltodextrin. Dextrose is a sweetener. Maltodextrin is a solids builder and drying agent. Neither dextrose nor maltodextrin is known to have any side effects, except for some allergic reactions in persons with allergies to corn or wheat as they are the building blocks for these two ingredients. People with allergies to corn or wheat are encouraged to speak with their physicians concerning intake of maltodextrin or dextrose.
Splenda may be no better than aspartame. If you want to read more go to http://www.foodanddiet.com/splenda/symptom-list.html
You'll be able to find aspartame-free gum at the health food store also.

Sorry, no. Anything that says "diet" or "sugarless" has artificial sweetener, and Splenda is most popular. You should really go for the normal gum and soda because it actually has less calories than the artificial. Also, anything with artificial sweetner most likely has a high chance of giving you cancer.

Some are switching to Splenda. Check the labels or do a search as to what products are available out there with Splenda.

For gum: ZAPP gum is made with xylitol. So is Breath RX gum.

You should look into products with Xylitol. It is actually good for you. They don't make a lot of things with it though, mostly just gum, mints, toothpaste. you can buy just plain Xylitol though and sweeten whatever you like with it.
