What can I do to protect my hair from my straight iron? I'm just now using my ceramic straight iron and I heard it could cause a lot of damage, so does anyone have product suggestions to help me not fry my hair?

Just make sure you put some type of product on your hair while it's wet. I would suggest a cream based product.

I use a flat iron and first use smooth down products, they work fantastic. Good Luck

Thermasilk is actually heat activated. You apply it before using the straight iron.
