the price will vary depending where in the world you are, and which piercing studio you go to.

regardless of whether the price is low OR high, make sure the premises you get it done at is clean and the piercer confident - it's not unknown for people even in 2006 to re-use needles and have a poor knowledge of cross-contamination regarding blood.

pain-wise, you're luckier than me because men's nipples have more nerve endings packed into a smaller area than a woman's so yours will hurt alot less than my three did. if you expect really bad pain your brain will provide it for you - just relax and don't freak out and it won't hurt anywhere near as much as you expect.

nipples are slightly better for keeping clean and avoiding infection than say a tongue, because the mouth is full of bacteria. the nipple is easy to clean too because of it's location. as long as you follow the aftercare advice of the piercer you'll be fine.

Hello and I hope my answers will help a little.....The cost of a nipple piercing will vary. Mine was $60.00 with the jeweleryand that was back in 1992. I suggest that you DO NOT try to save money and have someone other than a qualified, certified and approved piercer do any piercings for you. Will it hurt? The nipple is one of the most painful piercings that you can get but? If you follow the instructions of your piercer, keep the piercing clean and always remember that the jewelery is there? You will be well satisfied. I have had mine (my first) since 1992 and I have had no problems with it at all. Do remember this? that area is sensitive to temperature. When it is cold outside? the jewelery will remind you of just that!

Hope this helps in some small way!

Hi Sweet, Getting your nipple pierced is like getting a tattoo.Yes it will hurt and about infections. There always a chance of an infection, but the % is very low.All the piercing and tattooing needles and everything is new and wrap up tight before use.Wouldn't you be afraid of some A S S pulling on your nipple ring and pulling it off. There's alot of weird-os' out there. You might want to rethink this.If not i wish you luck on your project.

I don't know what it costs, but I just heard this morning on the news that a 18 year girl pierced her nipple and it became so infected that he had to be removed.

When i got mine pierced it was 60 bucks. It really didn't hurt that much, pretty much take your nails and squeeez your nipple as hard as you can... it hurts less than that. as far as infection as long as you clean it everyday and move the jewlery you should be ok. dont use peroxide though, it leads to scar tissue in piercings. just plain soap and water and you'll be fine :)

i wouldn't advise it because i mean it's not exactly something you can walk around showing off, it would be really painful and infection risk is quite high... i know a girl who had it done and well, lets just say she now only has 1 nipple left which isnt particularly attractive...

I would advise against it, because I don't think many men find that attractive. Get your belly button pierced if you want something pierced. That is very attractive.

i can not stress this enough...do your research!!!find a reputable shop with a good track record..talk to everybody to get this information...infection should be next to nothing if they are clean and use sterile equipment...as far as pain...well of course its going to hurt...but its only temporary, like anything, if you want it bad enough, then you will get it, regardless of pain-
