get new ones, they are not that expensive. espcially if you are going to keep the car for a while, pay the money and fix it right. intrepids last a long time, we have two of them in my family, one of them has 220,000 miles and the other has 205,000 miles.

If you got 191K miles from the original struts, treat yourself to new ones! Really, many struts are only good for 100K or less dependent on the kind of roads they are subjected to. Also, there is more labor from someone to reuse the old ones (junk yard) and reuse (remove old & install junk yard), and you will have limited knowledge as to whether they are going to go another 100K! Who is doing all the labor, you, the junk, or a shop? Keep it simple, with new one you will think you have a new car.

properly I actual have a ninety seven and the water pump became 80.00 put in by way of me. It has the three.3 V6, particularly easy to do oil ameliorations spark plugs air filter out that's a o.k. outfitted vehicle. changing the timing belt may be an particularly stupid thought - that guy is familiar with no longer something approximately autos in any respect. as long as you reside far flung from the two.7 litre engine you would be effective. Mine is now at 165000 miles unique engine/trans I merely replaced the front wheel bearings and struts. Totalling 275.00 - I put in. Then 40.00 for the alignment.

new ones...no sense in putting used parts like struts on your car. Yes it is hi milage...but if you maintain it then it will be worth it. Dodge is a wonderful car.....I have an '04 intrepid...76k miles...wonderful car. Had a 96 gave it to my daughter...she's still driving it. Also had a '96 vision...nice car..ex got that...but still a nice car built by chrysler.

Depends on if you have to remove them from the junkyard car first. Too much like work, I'd find some cheap new ones.

buy some cheap new ones. Why put used ones on when they may not last long either.
